Did you find out the sex of your baby beforehand? I didn't the first time (mother's intuition told me I was having a boy, but then R. arrived), and did the second time (found out S. was a boy at 11 weeks). So towards the end of my 1st pregnancy, I bought a couple of gender-neutral outfits, plus two "going home" outfits--one in pink, and one in blue, "just in case." I used the pink one to bring R. home and then kept the 2nd one in case I had a boy next time (which I did). Well, an enterprising new Chicago clothing line has made it possible to buy just one outfit either way. Twotara's tag line is "Pink or Blue...ready for you!" and it sells innovative layette garments that are pink on one side, blue on the other, and completely reversible. So not only can this be used for a baby whose gender will remain a surprise until delivery, but it also can be saved for a future sibling of either gender. The layette garments are simple and sweet, including basic items like footies ($35), gowns ($35), knit hats ($9.50), and booties ($15). This makes a perfect shower gift for a mom who's keeping things a surprise! Visit Twotara.
This is amazing! Have to remember this one for a future gift!
