Pink Chicken Grows Up

Those of you who up with the latest trends in kids' clothing have probably already heard of Pink Chicken, a popular Bohemian-style line of girls' dresses made in New York that has been worn by celebrity offspring from Stella McDermott to Violet Affleck. You can buy Pink Chicken dresses at a number of online boutiques--I'd recommend Arte Bebe.


And here's great news for those of you who, like me, have daughters who are now in the 7-14 size group. At the ENK Children's Show this summer, I learned that PInk Chicken--which had been making dresses up to size 8, has just launched a new line called Poulet Rose, which includes 'tween and teen sizes up to 15/16. So you can get that same bohemian flair that customers love with Pink Chicken, but in bigger sizes (and, thankfully, with age-appropriate details remaining--nothing trashy here). I especially like the striped knit pants; my 8-year-old lives in pants like these.
