I have some exciting news, which I shared on Twitter when it happened last week. Remember the Duane Reade post I wrote as my entry for the NYC drugstore chain's VIP Blogger program? Well, I was lucky enough to be one of the bloggers chosen for the program! I'll be a "brand ambassador" of sorts for the company, and while I'll be learning more of the particulars this week, I'm pretty sure it means great stuff in-store for both me and my own blog readers. So please stay tuned--I am excited to share more with you.
p.s. My eight-and-a-half-year-old daughter doesn't impress too easily. When I told her the news, she said, "So what? That's not such a big deal." Then she paused, and added, "Wait. Does that mean I get more Creme Eggs this year?" Perhaps...we shall see!
