Support Children's Mental Health with a Bloomingdale's Bear

Yesterday outside of Bloomingdale's on 59th Street I spotted this display of holiday gifts which will benefit the work of the Child Mind Institute in New York City. Did you know that in the United States, over 15 million children and teens have a psychiatric disorder, yet fewer than half of them will ever get the help they need? This is a cause that has great personal meaning to my family and me. Child Mind Institute was founded in 2009 with the goal of transforming mental health care for children everywhere through treatment, research, support, and advocacy. They have partnered with Bloomingdale's this holiday season, and $5 from each sale of a cuddly Little Brown Bear ($18, rainbow scarf included) will go directly to support Child Mind Institute's important programs. Buy a bear online at Bloomingdale's, and learn more about the Bloomingdale's/Child Mind Institute partnership here.
