The days of her baby pink room are gone...she has chosen lavender instead for her 'tween years. The color she chose for her walls is "Purple Cream" by Benjamin Moore. It is a very very pale lilac with a hint of pink in it. The runner-up was "Misty Lilac" but it looked too blue-ish on her walls as the day wore on. I highly recommend ordering Benjamin Moore paint samples when you are as indecisive as we are.
We're also getting her this Solid Leanback Lounger by PB Teen ($159-69). Having declared herself officially "too big" for her Pottery Barn Kids Anywhere Chair, this is the "lounger" on which I imagine she'll spend many hours on the phone (or texting?).
Chalk Calendar Wall Decal (on sale for $59 with free shipping) at PB Teen. If this thing helps her get organized, it'll be worth any price.
For bedding she choose this Big Dots Percale Bedding ($12-$89) out of the Company Kids catalog. The purple duvet cover was sold out, so I bought 2 queen flat sheets to be made into a twin-size duvet cover- hope it works.
She has beautiful new bamboo floors, but we're also ordering a small Big Dots Rug Pastel ($99-$289) to warm her feet a bit next to her bed.
Moms of 'tweens, have your kids asked for room re-do's? In what colors?
We redid my 10 year old's room recently. She went with similar polka dot bedding in greens and blues, and she is a big fan of turtles, so there are turles all over! :)

My 8 year old is wanting her room redone now, and she wants ice blue walls with ice skating stuff all over. We'll see when I have the energy for that one!
Elise's room looks great! I love the color scheme. And the bedding (I think I saw it when searching online for other polka dot bedding, too). I also really like the wall decals- Etsy is such a great place to find just the ones you're looking for. Great job!
