My Sister's Book: One of 2011's Best!

Remember this past January my sister had a book of short stories published? I am so proud to share that this weekend, her book Quiet Americans was named by USA Today as one of the best books from independent publishers in 2011. They describe it as "short stories that examine the effect of the Holocaust on generation after generation, from prewar Berlin to the present," and, though I'm biased, it's an amazing collection of stories that you will find very moving whether or not your own family was affected by the Holocaust (many of the stories are based on the experiences of our paternal grandparents--the "original" R & S--who met here in NYC in the late 1930s after they each fled Nazi Germany at the last minute). You can buy Quiet Americans at Amazon.com for $11.92.
