Although I write a shopping blog, I only had 3 small items I wanted to purchase yesterday- $30 jeans for myself from LOFT, $8 earmuffs for R. from The Children's Place, and a baby gift for one of my college roommates. Well, I was only able to get the last one (an awesome deal from Lands End--a monogrammed medium-sized tote for just $17 including shipping). Sadly, the LOFT and Children's Place websites were wonky and although I tried throughout the day to make my small purchases, the sites always either froze or gave me error messages. Fortunately, both sites (as long as others whose sites did work yesterday) are extending their deals this week. Which is good news, because, who's really done with their shopping for the season?
