Easy Halloween Ideas from Gooseberry Patch

I got a wonderful Halloween birthday package in the mail from my dear friend/college roommate E. It included this book Gooseberry Patch Halloween which is chock full of over 100 DIY ideas for Halloween entertaining, cooking, decorating, and celebrating. Best of all, the ideas are totally manageable (no Martha Stewart-level skills necessary). Two of my favorites: spray-painting a pumpkin to make it metallic silver and then handpainting your initial on it in white, and using clear glass condiment containers to serve sorted candies at your Halloween party. The photography is beautiful and it makes a nice (softcover) coffee table book, too. Buy it for $12.95 at Amazon.com.
