Rock The House...and Help Families

I got an e-mail from Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) about its nationwide “ROCK THE HOUSE” tour this summer, where 100% of proceeds from ticket sales go directly to support RMHC. As most of you already know, RMHC is the operator of Ronald McDonald House® which provides housing, resources, and stability to families while their child is in treatment or recovery at a nearby hospital. I happen to live a few blocks away from a Ronald McDonald House myself--and often see these families and the young patients--so I am happy to spread the word. The tour, which kicked off in San Diego last week and will stop at over 20 locations (including NYC on July 19th--see the full tour schedule here)--features the School of Rock’s “AllStars”, who are the most talented music students coming out of School of Rock’s national music program. The "ROCK THE HOUSE" tour provides these aspiring musicians with the opportunity to give back to the community while pursuing their artistic careers. Win-win for everyone, including the audiences (the show is completely kid-friendly, so bring 'em with you!).
