With very little free time for reading, I've become pretty selective even with magazine subscriptions. One magazine that I'm definitely keeping is Disney's Family Fun. It's designed for parents of kids ages 3-12, and I've found it a lot more relevant to us than other parenting magazines for two reasons. First, other magazines still focus too much on the baby/toddler stage which we have passed, and, second, I am still pretty upset at Parents magazine for failing to recognize Autism Awareness month and, in general, paying only slight attention to children with special needs. Disney's Family Fun seems a more all-inclusive magazine with "easier" things to do--whether crafts, recipes, activities, or just ways to spend more QT with your kids. And, for what it's worth, I didn't even realize it was a "Disney" publication at first--it is not heavy-handed in promoting the company. I have a deal for you that will get you a one-year Family Fun subscription (10 issues) for just $4.79, which is a 74% discount from the newsstand price. Happy Reading! p.s. The magazine almost always includes a Gymboree 20% off coupon, so you'll have one handy when placing your next order!
