From the Archives: Home Depot Toy Tool Box

My 3-year-old son just got this Home Depot Tool Box as a Hanukkah gift from his speech therapist (thank you, Michelle!) and he LOVES it. During the day, he carries it around and stops to "fix" things- "I fix dat, Mama?" is his oft-repeated question. There are 18-pieces inside the sturdy orange box, including hammer, screwdrivers, pliers, saw, nails, and (S's favorite) a tape measure. It is a great toy for creative play and I think it may become one of my go-to birthday gifts for little boys (or girls). Check it out at Toys R Us, where it costs $9.99 (a great deal).
