My seven-year-old requested (and received) her first pair of "jeggings" from H&M, but after a few washings she complained that they were too tight (and these were one size bigger than her usual size). So we have just retired them. I like the idea of these
Not So Skinny Jeans by
Hanna Andersson instead. Just
"on the relaxed side of skinny," they have classic jeans styling with the comfort of soft stretch denim. And, of course, an adjustable waist. They're available in sizes 80 (10-24mos) to 160 (12 years) for $36 at
Hanna Andersson.
Have you tried these? I saw them in the store and the waist was so disproportionate - so disappointing. Even with the ability to adjust the waist, it didn't look right because it was so bunchy with all that material being pulled in at the waist. Hope you have better luck! I'm still trying to find good jeggings for my daughter!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen them in person (they don't have a store in Manhattan). Thanks for the heads-up about this. I also saw some "roomier" jeggings at Children's Place and may try those instead.
ReplyDeleteYes- I am looking for these too and would love any tips on the perfect jegging for my little girl. Got some reasonably priced at Old Navy for her and she could not get them on because they were so tight! Bigger sizes were so much longer that we would have to have them hemmed.
