I've noticed in the last few issues of Earnshaws trade magazine that more girls' clothing lines are expanding their offerings to 'tween sizes. This is, of course, great news to me since my daughter now wears a size 7 but is still more comfortable in younger styling (you'd be surprised how racy some size 7-17 clothing can be). I like Stella Industries's new collection of girls' clothing extended to sizes 7-14, such as this dressy but still machine washable "Jillian" dress ($57.20; up to size 14). And, all orders ship free through 10/31; no coupon code needed. Visit Stella Industries to see their entire range of girls' clothing in infant through teen sizes.
THANK YOU for posting this site. Would love to see other appropriate tween clothing sites. I'm desperate. She's outgrowing the little girl look, is in fourth grade, but wears a size 14 and larger. Our mainstay of Hanna Andersson is starting to look a little juvenile (though we have still found a few things that work). Other traditional retailers have clothing that is designed for skinny, skinny children who dress like Disney Channel teens - ugh. MKW
