I'm pretty sure my grandparents had something like this moonbeam clock in their small Brooklyn apartment decades ago. I love the retro, low-tech look, right down to the font used for the numbers. Maybe it will show up as a prop on Mad Men? Buy it for $39.50 in your choice of five pastels at LL Bean (by the way, it offers your choice of alarm bell, gentle light, or both as a wake-up call).

I love it :) I've seen similar clocks and always think about getting something like it for my kitchen and think - overkill...one on the stove, one on the microwave...how many do I need?
