Jason is a NYC-based photographer and has just launched his own kids' portraiture site. Personally, Jason is inspired by photographing his own two-and-a-half-year-old nephew (we loves uncles, right?) Professionally, he has studied photography at Parsons and film at The New School, and his work has appeared in The New York Times, New York Magazine, and Time Out. When photographing children, his approach is to give kids freedom and let them create their own spontaneous moments. His standard holiday portrait session costs about $575 (a price that will not surprise New York City moms). What you're paying for is up to 3 hours of photography, an online gallery of at least 60 images, and contact sheets, plus a $100 credit for print purchases and a disk containing e-mail ready images.
